ATLANTA, UNITED STATES – On Saturday July 1st, Vitalis Lanshima, the current world record holder in the 100 meters Class T45, competing at the World Championship trials, shattered the world record he set in Duderstadt, Germany, six week ago erasing twelve-one-hundredth of a second off the existing record. Lanshima’s record now stands at 11:05 seconds, putting him in a position to rewrite the history books indicating that it is possible to run sub 11 seconds without upper extremities. |
